I did an interview for an internship and it was stupid. I've got an interview for an actual job in Glen Ellyn at the Glen Ellyn public library on friday, and I'm staying with redbear thursday night, so I'm excited/nervous about that. Adam (of Jenny is a Boy fame) and I got matching Indiana tattoos. Mine is on the inside of my left bicep:

here's just a list, i've been busy as fuck.
- built a reading series for the lit mag i did a production class for all by myself, got forced to read at the first one, had it all go REALLY well, and got 75% of the credit i deserved in it. that is 74% more than i was expecting. - hosted a really great show - put out a nonfiction chapbook - met wayne koestenbaum, gave him one of my books, and he gave me a writing assignment - had a young canadian houseguest who looks like a young anthony michael hall - pretty much ended a relationship - graduated college - did my first real reading/performance that was actually my choice and it went really well. i got a bunch of people to make each other friendship bracelets during my set. - got really confused about a lot of things. - have been at least mildly inebriated since 330 sunday when my family started feeding me graduation margaritas - went to a really great lunch with jenny boully and david lazar and some friends and people i used to workshop with that was like a little family reunion.

Crap, you have been busy.
Meghan got a job in Palatine. I don't think we'll be living in the city now, because it looks like we'll be working in the suburbs, even though Meghan's going to be going to Roosevelt.
We're looking at apartments in Des Plaines. I've never been there, but it seems to have nice places for pretty cheap and not be too too far from the city.

yeah. if i don't get into grad school and do assistanceships, there's nothing in my field whatsoever aside from tutoring programs. i found an unpaid internship with a literary agent but they want 50 hours a week and won't hire you when it's done. a lot of internship programs are really dumb. david talked me into applying to northwestern's mfa program too and their financial aid department is better than roosevelt's, oddly enough.

I've been scraping/patching/painting dorm rooms for 40 hours a week since everyone moved out. It's tiring, but I get paid a decent amount.

Looking for a job as well. Summer classes and shows are going to keep me in Gainesville until July, when I can finally get out and travel for a bit. I'm glad it's summer though. Also, quite a few of my friends are moving away, so I've been trying to spend as much time with them as possible. Hi [spence]

I've been working on college searching and getting ready to head north for a few weeks. Also taking finals and reading Kerouac like a madwoman.

my fine friends, i have been in a frenzy getting ready to tour!
school ended a week ago and i got so crossfaded multiple times after that ended.. i attended SF Popfest and met tullycraft, the smittens, suburban kids with biblical names and interviewed them all. traveled over 2000 between home and the bay area *multiple trips*, came home and recorded from 9pm until 6am, then recorded from 11am until 3.
tonight i will be recording more to finish the YYD album, then making our sweet albums (Felt Oranges!!!), finishing the Zine for our album and getting ready to leave for 5 weeks! HOLY MOLY. the only good thing is that I will get to seee many of you!!
